Gangakhed Sugar & energy Limited (GSEPL), a leading sugar manufacturer in Maharashtra,, has announced plans to set up an ethanol production unit. The unit, which will be located at the company''s existing sugar factory in Gangakhed, will have a capacity of 100 kilolitres per day (KLD). The ethanol production unit is part of GSELP''s strategy to diversify its operations and reduce its reliance on sugar production.
