Flex Circuits Board

Certain rules need to be followed while designing rigid PCBs. It includes minimum distances to board edges, minimum space and trace width, minimum hole sizes, and overall design thicknesses. There are various steps of the manufacturing process that are mutually shared between rigid and flexible PCB. For removing moisture from the PCBs there are certain steps involved which are the etching of copper traces, the drilling and plating of holes and vias, photo imaging and development, and the heating (baking) of the circuit boards.
