A borewell submersible pump is a kind of pump that is fully submersible in water. The motor remains closely coupled to the body of the pump and is sealed hermetically.
Submersible pumps convert the rotary energy into kinetic energy thus pushing the water to the surface. This entire process requires the water to be pulled into the pump- first in the intake, where the rotation of the impeller pushes the water through the diffuser. It further reaches the surface from there. One of the biggest advantages of the borewell submersible pump is that it never needs to be primed as it already remains submerged in fluids. Moreover, such kinds of pumps are also quite essential because they do not have to spend a whole lot of energy moving water into the pump
