The duct AC is preferred for cooling common areas like workplaces, shopping centres, and other large spaces. These systems operate by cooling the air at a central location and then sending it to different rooms using ducts. They come in handy for maintaining a uniform temperature in a large area. On the other hand, the split AC has a separate compressor and indoor unit for each room. Because of this, you can control the temperature of each area individually. In these systems, the indoor and outdoor units are connected by a system of pipes.
