Description
The Switch Delhi campaign was started to create overarching awareness of EVs among the citizens of Delhi to increase the uptake of electric vehicles. Delhi EV policy is said to be one of the most progressive policies globally as it sets an ambitious vision to improve Delhi's air quality and to become one of the top cities in the world in terms of electric vehicle adoption. The government aims to have 1 out of every 4 vehicles to be EV by 2024. Delhi government has also urged several giant companies, delivery chains, resident welfare associations, malls and cinema halls to set up electric charging stations at their premises to promote electric vehicles.
