Job Description
The primary "Electrical Systems Anchor" and "Instrumentation & Control Guardian" in our industrial processing facility is the E&I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation)-Plant Operations, Equipment Calibration, Troubleshooting & Systems Maintenance. Your main responsibility is to check, calibrate, diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical power systems, control loops, field instrumentation, and automated control equipment, while project engineers oversee new capital expansions and plant management oversees overall production targets. As the "Guardian of Signal Accuracy, Electrical Power Reliability, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Process Control Stability, and Zero Electrical Safety Violations," you assume direct responsibility for making sure the plant operates in a safe, dependable, and continuous manner.

Responsibilities:
Instrumentation Calibration & Field Maintenance: Ensure signal accuracy throughout all process loops by calibrating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters, control valves, positioners, density meters, and analytical sensors.
Electrical Power & Control Systems Maintenance: Examine, maintain, and fix electrical infrastructure, such as industrial lighting/power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, variable frequency drives, motor control centers, circuit breakers, and control panels.
Automation and PLC/DCS Troubleshooting: Conduct diagnostic tests, trace control loops, and troubleshoot issues with field buses, solenoids, relay logic systems, DCS I/O modules, SCADA communication lines, and PLCs.
Executing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: To avoid unforeseen equipment failures and power outages, carry out planned preventative maintenance work orders and predictive maintenance chores.

Skills:
Process Instrumentation & Loop Calibration: Excellent ability to use HART communicators and calibrators to calibrate, configure, and troubleshoot electronic, smart, and pneumatic transmitters, control valves, valve positioners, signal converters, and process controllers.
Electrical Systems & Power Distribution: Proficient in the upkeep and diagnosis of 415V/480V systems, MCC panels, VFDs, induction motors, contactors, relays, transformers, and breaker panels.
The ability to understand electrical single-line diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, wiring schematics, loop drawings, and ladder logic diagrams for PLC/DCS I/O problems is known as industrial automation and schematic literacy.
Industrial Safety & Hazardous Area Standards: A strong dedication to PPE compliance, electrical safety protocols, lockout/tagout regulations, and hazardous area equipment upkeep.
