Job Description:
The main "Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Anchor" and "Regulatory Compliance Guardian" for our manufacturing operations and industrial plant projects is the E&I Inspector (Electrical & Instrumentation) Quality Assurance, Equipment Inspection, Testing & Compliance. Your main responsibility is to independently inspect, verify, test, and certify that all electrical power systems, field instrumentation, control panels, and automation networks strictly adhere to engineering design specifications, international standards, quality plans, and hazardous area safety regulations, while E&I installation engineers and technicians carry out physical wiring, loop checks, and equipment maintenance. As the "Guardian of Installation Quality, Explosion-Proof Compliance, Calibration Accuracy, Material Traceability, and Zero Inspection Defect Escalations," you assume direct execution responsibility for preventing quality failures, guaranteeing system dependability, and certifying compliance before plant commissioning and equipment energisation.
Key Skills:
Industrial E&I Quality Control & Inspection Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of pre-commissioning inspections, loop testing, material verification, inspection test plans, and QA/QC procedures for industrial processing or manufacturing plants.
International Standards & Codes Literacy: In-depth knowledge of international engineering codes and standards, such as ISO 9001 quality management principles, IEC, IEEE, NEC (NFPA 70), ISA, and ATEX/IECEx.
Hazardous Area (Ex) Inspection Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in inspecting pressurised equipment installations, cable entry systems, explosion-proof, intrinsically safe, and enhanced safety.
Review of technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics: exceptional ability to understand schematic diagrams, cable schedules, loop drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, single-line diagrams, and hazardous area classification drawings.
