The Earth Care Awards (ECAs) are a joint initiative of JSW and The Times of India group. It is a national awards programme that recognises and incentivizes outstanding climate stewardship by individuals, organizations, corporations, and state actors in response to climate change. This award seeks cutting-edge solutions that are impactful, practical, salable, and replicable. Renewable energy development, energy efficiency, emissions reduction, development of sustainable infrastructure, nature-based solutions, community-led ecosystem conservation, development of eco-friendly energy sources, replenishment of depleting natural resources, and so on. The Awards are in their tenth year, following a successful journey. Since then, the ECA has gained widespread acceptance among industries, NGOs, CBOs, and government agencies.
