The Dodital Trek is one of the renowned treks in Uttarakhand for its serene lake views with the surroundings of rhododendron forests. Additionally, according to local legends, Dodital is the birthplace of Lord Ganesha. Generally, this trek covers 40 kilometers in 5-6 days with the difficulty level of easy to moderate. The trek starts from Sangamchatti, a small village of Uttarkashi, and trek leads you to a maximum altitude of 4,150 meters at Darwa Top, where you get breathtaking views of the massif Garhwal Himalayas.
