Data Base Installation Configuration

Despite the fact that the installation methods for each database type differed greatly, they all followed the same basic steps:
Install the necessary applications.
Make sure the database is backed up.
For Services Gatekeeper to connect to the database, create a user account.
Identity Manager stores transactional and historical data, such as scheduling and audit data, in a database. Before the Identity Manager Server can be set up, a database must be installed and configured.
There is a database configuration file for each database. Database parameters (such as database code page, collating sequence, and Db2® database release level) that were specified or used when the database was built are stored in this file.
