We provide a high-voltage secondary corona discharge generator that doesn't require a step-up transformer for surface treatment. The generator nonetheless has an acceptable volume, efficiency, and dependability despite being devoid of the oil bath for high-voltage components.
The generator serves as the power source. The generator's job is to give the treater station enough power so that it can create a corona. A high frequency generator and a high voltage output transformer make up the device. The job of the high frequency generator is to convert low frequency power, which is typically supplied by the local utility, to high frequency, which can vary from 3-340 kilohertz (kHz), depending on the generator. Most solid state generators run between 3 to 40 kHz, which is their most common operating range.
It is converted to high frequency before going to the high voltage output transformer. The electricity is now sent to the "hot" electrode at the treater station in the form of a corona by way of the air gap.
