Copper alloy electro-welding is a process that is used to join copper alloys to copper. It is a process in which a copper alloy, usually brass, and copper are joined together by an electric arc. This joining process can be done with or without the use of filler metal.
The advantages of using this type of welding are that it provides good corrosion resistance, high strength, and good electrical conductivity. The disadvantages are that it cannot be done on thin materials and can only be done with materials that have similar melting points.
