Description

Chartered Accountant is a critical specialization-cum-certification course that qualifies you to work as a chartered accountant for any reputable company or audit firm. In India, the course is governed by the ICAI.

Candidates with a 10+2 diploma are eligible to enrol in the CA Foundation Course. To enrol in the CA programme, they must pass the Common Proficiency Test (CPT). After passing the CA Foundation course, you must enrol in the intermediate course, which must be completed before proceeding to the final course. Candidates who have finished their bachelor's degree can proceed directly to the intermediate level.

The results of the Common Proficiency Test will determine your CA admission to further courses. Three levels make up the CA Course. The duration of the CA course is not set in stone. Candidates must complete the CA Course in a minimum of four years to be considered successful.

CA Admission Process

Anyone who has finished 10+2 can enrol in the CA programme, however advancement to further levels is contingent on their success in the CPT.

• A 10+2 passed candidate must go to the ICAI website to register for the CA course.
• They will receive the foundation course registration form as well as the CPT exam registration form there.
• Candidates must complete the paperwork and pay the necessary fees.
• The candidate is registered as a CA candidate after completing the procedures.
• If the candidate has previously completed their bachelor's degree, they may enter the intermediate level immediately.
• Similarly, such candidates will be required to register.
