Eligibility Criteria For Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
To pursue a BVSc in India, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria. The minimum eligibility requirement is to pass a 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects. To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination, however, the percentage requirement varies from college to college.

Admission Process For Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
Admission to BVSc courses is mainly through national and state-level entrance examinations. The most popular national-level entrance exam is the All India Pre-Veterinary Examination (AIPVT), conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). AIPVT is usually conducted in the month of May/June every year. Apart from AIPVT, some colleges may also conduct their own entrance exam for admission to BVSc courses.
