Best B.Tech Colleges in Delhi NCR:
Delhi NCR consists of about 26 districts located in Delhi NCT, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. And there are numerous engineering colleges located in these districts. As per data available on the internet, there are more than 368 engineering colleges in Delhi NCR, about 320 of them are private and about 48 are government colleges. Having so many options makes a student overwhelmed. Opting for an engineering college is like taking sheltered steps to your engineering career, so it must be done thoughtfully.
Eligibility for B.Tech Admission in Delhi NCR:
According to basic criteria set by AICTE, the candidate must score a minimum 45% aggregate score in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Agriculture/Biology/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subjects. However, these criteria might vary from one institution to another. For instance :

Many reputed public B.Tech colleges in Delhi NCR like Jamia Millia Islamia and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University ask atleast 55% aggregate marks in 10+2 (obviously with PCM as compulsory subjects) as a minimum eligibility requirement.
IIT Delhi and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology demand a minimum 75% aggregate score in the board examinations.
To be eligible for admissions to Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, You need to score a minimum 80% aggregate score in the final board examinations,
National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra has minimum eligibility criteria of 60% aggregate marks in the higher secondary board examinations.
For admission to Delhi Technological University, One needs to score atleast 60% marks in 10+2 in 10+2 marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English as one of the main subjects from a recognized board.
Note: According to the new rules issued by AICTE (All India Technical Education) - Physics and Chemistry is no longer compulsory subjects in 10+2 for admission into B.Tech or B.E courses. However, the students who had not opted for these subjects in their 12th will have to undergo a training process in order to become eligible to apply for B.E/B.Tech programs. This new rule will come into effect from the academic year 2021-2022 onwards.
