Now you can verify your identity in your LinkedIn profile using your Aadhaar. While it is optional, LinkedIn emphasizes that verifying the identity can enhance the member’s credibility and unlock new opportunities.
Here's how you can do it.
• Go to “About this profile” in your LinkedIn profile
• Choose “verify with Aadhaar” option
• A page from the Digilocker website or app will be displayed
• Enter your Aadhaar number
• Enter your registered phone number and you will receive an OTP.
• Aadhaar number verification will be done
• You will be asked to take a selfie to check with your Aadhaar photo
• Tap on “Share with LinkedIn” to add the verification to your LinkedIn profile.
If not Aadhaar, you can verify your identity using a work mail ID or workplace credentials.
