Day 1: ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR AIRPORT [TRANSFERS TO HOUSEBOAT]

Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will meet our representative at the mentioned airport gate who will assist you further to Houseboat (Srinagar is also known as “Paradise on Earth”). Srinigar is a modern water world, dominated by Dal Lake and its twisting waterways, tree-lined Nagin Lake, and the Jhelum river.

Day 2: SRINAGAR [LOCAL SIGHSTEEINGS] [OVERNIGHT AT SRINAGAR]

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out from Hotel & transfer to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar, we check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Later we start our Sightseeing tour by the visit of Shankaracharya Temple, It is believed that it was the place where the great philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanathan Dharma. The original ceiling was dome-shaped and the brick roof is not more than a century old.

Day 3: SRINAGAR TRANSFERS TO GULMARG [OVERNIGHT AT GULMARG]

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snowcapped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees.

En route, you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg.
Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf courses. Assistance for pony hiring will be provided from our end.
A must experience will be a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced Gondola lift to the first phase. (spot payment-approx. INR 800 per person- Recommended – 10 minutes).
Check-in at Gulmarg hotel and enjoy a homely dinner and overnight stay at Gulmarg

Day 4: GULMARG - PAHALGAM [TRANSFERS FROM GULMARG TO PAHALGAM] Approx 4 hours [OVERNIGHT AT PAHALGAM]

After an early breakfast check out from Gulmarg and proceed for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag Lake.
The drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction.

En-route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman.
On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren {Mini Switzerland}, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam.
A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers a good view. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in. Devour a lavish dinner with an overnight stay at Pahalgam

Day 5: PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING [ARU VALLEY, BETAAB VALLEY, AND CHANDANWARI]

Today after breakfast, depart for an excursion trip to Chandanwari, the Starting point of Amarnath Yatra & Betab valley, Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betab after the Bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, was renamed as a major part of the movie was shot here. Post lunch proceeds for the trip to Aru Valley – Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies on the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder River. Overnight at the hotel in Pahalgam. Note: Our vehicle will drop you at Chandanwari vehicle point form where you can either take a penny/ govt. enrolled vehicle for a further excursion to the valleys.

Day 6: PAHALGAM TRANSFERS TO SRINAGAR AIRPORT (Approx 2 hours)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out from Pahalgam and transfers to Srinagar airport. Complete airport formalities and board a return flight to Kolkata with fond memories of your trip with Meilleur Holidays!!
