In addition to Sogo shosha (総合商社) companies Mitsubishi, and Mitsui, the big conglomerates such as Honda, Canon, Denso, TCS and others too have joined hands with this initiative.
The number of Japanese companies supporting the 900-km long venture-based Ideathon – Hack the Innovative Future has reached 77. Apart from Mitsubishi, Mitsui & Co., ITOCHU, Sumitomo, Marubeni, and Toyota, the other Japanese firms that have joined the bandwagon are HONDA, Canon, Denso, and others including TATA Consultancy Services (TCS).
Some of the new names supporting the initiative are JFE, AOTS, DNP, DIA Park Hotel, KARI KARI, JKEKT, SANKYO Inc., SUMITOMO Wiring, Mitsui Chemicals, YOKOHAMA, ZEON, PASONA, and KG.
