Google has made sites with low-quality content rank higher using its algorithm known as “Quality Score .” This means that when you have a website like Trip Advisor or Yelp that ranks high in search results because they have lots of user-generated content and a lot of user reviews, but your site doesn’t rank as well because you don’t have user-generated content and you don’t have many user reviews – these rankings can work against you instead of for you.
