Description

Dentures are substitutes for missing teeth. There are two key types of dentures: complete and partial. The appropriate procedure is recommended, according to the number of missing teeth. Complete dentures can be either “conventional” or “immediate.” Made after the teeth have been detached and the gum tissue has started to heal, a conventional denture is prepared for placement in the mouth around 8 to 12 weeks after the teeth have been removed.
