What is the CA Foundation Course

1. It is the first step to becoming a Chartered Accountant.

2. ICAI conducts this exam twice a year (in May and November).

3. Register before the 31st of December; of last year if you wish to appear for the May slot.

4. To appear for the November attempt slot, you must register before 30th June of the same year.

5. The CA Foundation exam consists of four papers, two subjective and two objectives.

6. For incorrect answers on the Objective paper, you will receive a negative mark.

7. To qualify for the CA foundation, you must score a minimum of 40% on each paper.

8. CA foundation exams are conducted only offline.

9. English and Hindi are the languages of the exam.
