The Bali Pass connects Yamunotri with Harki Dun - Ruinsara Valley and is just below the 5000m line. Discover the flora and fauna like the elusive Himalayan snowbox, Kalanaga, Swargrohini and other majestic mountains on the 66 km trek from the taluka to Jankichatti Thanga Explore lush meadows with vibrant flowers like there is an array of bugyal and devasu grass.
The trek starts from the holy shrine of Yamunotri and ends at the source of Yamuna river itself Saprushi Kund. Start from Sankari and plan a trekking tour through meadows, deep forests and challenging climbs. Trips are best done in May–June and in September and October, when special seasonal attractions are available.
