Responsibilities:
Mechanical and Electrical Component Assembly: Use manual hand tools, pneumatic torque wrenches, riveting tools, solders, and precision measurement devices to assemble intricate mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical components.
Blueprint and Engineering Schematic Interpretation: To guarantee proper assembly sequences and fitment, accurately read and interpret mechanical blueprints, exploded-view drawings, wiring schematics, work instructions, and bill of materials (BOM).
Alignment, Fitting, and Testing: Prior reaching downstream manufacturing stages, sub-assemblies should undergo precision fitting, alignment, clearance checks, and basic functional, leak, and pressure testing.
Quality Verification & Defect Identification: To avoid line defects, self-inspect assembled parts against quality standards, find faulty parts or thread damage, and separate non-conforming goods.
Tooling and Equipment Maintenance: Check assigned pneumatic guns, torque-calibrated tools, jigs, fixtures, and station equipment on a daily basis and perform basic maintenance.
Required Skills:
High proficiency with hand tools, pneumatic torque drivers, drill presses, riveting tools, torque wrenches, micrometres, and callipers is a sign of mechanical aptitude and tool mastery.
Strong comprehension of mechanical technical drawings, assembly schematics, exploded diagrams, and standard work instructions (SWIs) is a sign of blueprint and diagram literacy.
Manual Dexterity & precise Assembly: The ability to handle small parts and perform repetitive precise jobs with exceptional hand-eye coordination, physical endurance, and attention to detail.
