Service Engineer Job in Service Activity Development
Job Description
Duties:
On-Site Machinery Installation & Commissioning: Complete on-site installation, levelling, wiring validation, testing, calibration, and final commissioning of industrial automation systems and manufacturing machinery at customer locations in accordance with technical standards.
Emergency Breakdown Response & Field Troubleshooting: In an emergency, quickly deploy to client sites to identify and fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system (PLC/VFD/Servo) issues.
Execution of Service Contracts and Preventive Maintenance: To extend the life of customer machines, oversee planned preventive maintenance visits, health examinations, and service audits under Annual Maintenance Contracts and Warranty agreements.
Client Operator & Maintenance Training: Provide thorough practical technical instruction encompassing machine operation, daily safety inspections, standard maintenance protocols, and fundamental fault-finding to client operators and maintenance technicians.

Focus Skills:
Strong practical expertise in diagnosing industrial machinery, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, gearboxes, electrical control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and sensor networks is required for field machinery and electromechanical troubleshooting.
Customer Handling & Field Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities to de-escalate tense breakdown situations, communicate technical diagnosis properly, and engage professionally with client managers.
Technical Drawing & Schematic Literacy: Proficient comprehension of control logic flowcharts, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical assembly drawings.
Site Engineering & Calibration: Practical knowledge of calibration gauges, alignment devices, precision measurement tools, and diagnostic software.
