Anna University - [AU], Chennai was established in the year of 4thof September 1978 located in Chennai. In addition to giving higher education in Sciences and Technology, Anna University also has programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Applied Sciences. As a state university, Anna University was also founded on the basis of state legislation. Furthermore, 593 Affiliated Colleges, which include government, government-aided, and self-financing colleges are part of Anna University. They represent 13 Constituent Colleges, three Regional Campuses across Tirunelveli, Madurai and Coimbatore.
