We are hiring for an experienced, skilled android developer to create and maintain applications that meet the needs of our client base. To ensure success as an android developer, you should demonstrate proficiency in one of the mainstream programming languages, and a sound understanding of the traditional product life cycle. Responsibilities:

Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices.
Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.
Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Implementing measures to safeguard users' data.
Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.
Experience in publishing applications on Google Play store.

Requirements:

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirement
Excellent coding and proofreading skills
Top-notch teamwork and good communication skills.
Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Good exposure to 3rd party application, services and APIs.
Strong knowledge of Android studio, Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Familiar with MVVM , MVP and MVC architecture patterns.
Should have basic Knowledge of Jetpack components.
Should have basic Knowledge on Kotlin.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration
Experience in TDD or BDD a plus.
Experience in working in team and individual team member
Knowledge and exposure to different project methodologies and project management tools
