All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS-R], Raipur is a public university inaugurated in the year 2012. A center of excellence in medical education, teaching, and medical services, AIIMS-R is one of six healthcare facilities within the AIIMS network in India. It has affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There are also four modular operating rooms, MGPS, CT scans, other medical facilities, and two pharmacy branches on campus at IIMS Raipur.
A variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs are available at AIIMS Raipur, including a number of specialties. Besides being one of the best healthcare institutions in Central India, this autonomous central govt university is gradually expanding and is set to become one of the top academic institutions in the country. Students wishing to enroll in postgraduate courses at AIIMS Delhi are required to take an AIIMS PG exam, AIIMS Raipur conducts a separate test.
