All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS] is an autonomous Institute that came into existence in 2004. It was approved by MCI, INC and is located in Patna, Bihar. It is the most prestigious medical education institute in the country, making AIIMS-P a highly sought-after medical college. It offers 25 courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. in various streams such as MBBS, MS, MD, PG, MDS, and B.Sc. There are two levels of testing (written test and interview) and a merit list is prepared for selected students. In other words, to join AIIMS Patna's paramedical program, students must pass the written test and the interview.
