In 1992, the department of the Directorate of Distance Education of Alagappa University was founded in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India. Alagappa University Distance Education Admission is offered in various ug, diploma, pg degree, certificate, as well as post-diploma levels. These all programs are available in science, management, arts, education, library science, etc., streams. The University ODL has 16 UG and 59 PG degree courses apart from the PG Diploma as well as certificate courses are open for eight programs. Alagappa University Distance Education provides UG, PG, as well as Diploma courses in Computer Applications, Commerce, Science, Arts, Education, and Languages. Applicants who are looking for admission into this distance education program may either download their application form from the Alagappa University website or can apply directly to the college. For admissions to UG the applicant should have completed an Intermediate exam from the recognized university then these applicants will be eligible to apply the admission to the UG offers programs level courses. For admissions into PG DDE then, applicants must have to complete the Bachelor's degree from any recognized university then the applicant will be eligible to apply for the PG course.
