The Agricultural Wheel was a farmer cooperative in the United States. It was founded in Arkansas in 1882. [1] W. W. Tedford, an Arkansas farmer and schoolteacher, was a significant founding organiser of the Agricultural Wheel. The Agricultural Wheel, like comparable farmer groups such as the Southern Farmers' Alliance, the Louisiana Farmers' Union, and the Brothers of Freedom, was created to expose and redress the injustices and oppressions meted out to small farmers by merchants, grain elevators, and railways.
