Infectious zoonotic diseases in dogs can be transmitted from animals to people. A variety of zoonotic infections, often known as Zoonoses, are transmitted through direct or indirect contact with infected animals. In contrast, some of these infectious diseases are spread by vectors such as mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.
Furthermore, the number of zoonotic diseases that can affect both dogs and people is quite high. And amongst these numerous infections, some are comparatively more fatal. However, in general, most Zoonotic diseases can pose a serious health threat if left untreated.
