Description

The difference between a transfer certificate and a migration certificate is that a transfer certificate is a document prepared by the institution's in-charge and given to a student after his request. The transfer certificate is prepared by the concerned authorities if the student wishes to leave the institution, college, or school. The transfer certificate includes personal details of the coed listed in it and specifies the date of the student's birth as per the record of the said college, when and which program the scholar studied at the institution, whether he/she passed or failed, and further, it certifies that the scholar paid all his dues to the institution and isn't a defaulter. This also states within the mother's name and therefore the father's name and the family's occupation as per its records.

A migration certificate is given by the Education Board or the University when the applicant decides to go away from the board or the University of Education and needs to be enrolled with another board or university so as to pursue further education. In this, the said Education Board or University certifies that the said student was a bonafide student of the said Education Board or University which there's no objection if the said student migrates to the opposite Education Board or University for further study.
