Vardhman Mahaveer Open University - [VMOU] is a public university established in 1987 approved by UGC. Kota Open University was renamed to Vardhman Mahaveer Open University on the 21st of September 2002 via a Rajasthan government gazette notification. There are many academic activities that take place on the Campus and there is excellent infrastructure here. Students here are also extremely active in extracurricular activities.
In addition, VMOU offers a broad range of UG programs, 10 PG Diploma Programs, 11 Diploma Programs, 16 Certificate Programs, Ph.D., and M.Phil. Totally it offers 76 courses in PG,UG, Diploma, PG Diploma, Certificate Programs, Ph.D., M.Phil. It has well maintained infrastructure, auditorium for organizing many events, computer laboratory, library, cafeteria, medical facility inside the campus.
