In the last month, Minecraft developer Mojang announced May 16 (North America) and May 14 (Europe) release dates for the game's boxed PS3 edition. In the comments on the PlayStation Blog announcement, Mojang's Owen Hill noted that the developer is "aiming for Q2/Q3" of this year to release the PS4 and Vita versions. Hill declared that Mojang will soon announce news regarding Cross Buy and PS3 to PS4 upgrade options. However, Hill did mention that Mojang plans to add world-transferring features. Hill wrote that the goal was to allow users to transfer from PS3 and PS4 to their devices. " Sagor's blog are still figuring out how to do this with the Vita version." Mojang also showcased the PC version's future world customization options. It will be made available as an update.
