Minecraft 1.17 on M1 Mac with arm64 java?I used to be able to play Minecraft using the Azul Zulu 11 JDK constructed for arm64.As we speak i upgraded Minecraft to model 1.17 which was released not too long ago and has nice new features. It now requires Java sixteen and comes bundled with a x86_64 java binary on MacOS which works on M1 Macs however provides lower than stellar performance. Dhaka's blog I put in Azul Zulu sixteen for arm64 and configured my Minecraft launcher profile to make use of it (path: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-16.jdk/Contents/Dwelling/bin/java ).Unfortunately the game crashes on launch. Has anyone gotten it to work with the arm64 java binary?Yep, use this GitHub gist as a guild. The reason it's crashing is that Minecraft makes use of LWJGL which hasn't been compiled for ARM within the Minecraft launcher. You need to make use of MultiMC to alter to the LWJGL native JAR that someone compiled.Thanksu/superpenguin612 I exploit Multi-MC, I updated to Zulu 16, however the wrapper shouldn't be working. It really works just high quality on 1.16.5 Zulu 11; and 1.12 Zulu 8, but not 16. Any idea why? Does the LWJGL have to be updated? It works simply nice for me! There shouldn't technically be a "wrapper," per se (there may be a special GitHub gist that claims to make use of a python wrapper command; I've had issues with that so I linked the one where all you have to do is change the Java native and LWJGL). Can you post your configuration for MultiMC? I have it working all the way in which up to 1.17 with Optifine and Zulu 16. Here is an Imgur link with my total configuration. Dhaka's blog I really deviated from the information as a result of I didn't wish to store LWJGL in my house folder so I moved it to the occasion folder for my 1.16.5 profile. (You'll be able to open it by clicking "Instance Folder" in MultiMC) Hope this helps!Works nice for me , i am also running on the beta version of OSX - i do have a random crash on exit that i'm struggling with however the sport itself runs superb. I am utilizing mcwrap.py and zulu-16jdk.
