Specialty of Birla Temple

The land on which the temple is built was given to Birla by the Maharaja for just a token of one rupee. The most stunning part of the temple is the idol of Lakshmi Narayan, which was carved out of a single stone. The interiors of the temple are filled with mythological paintings of the various Hindu gods and goddesses. The temple is also home to a museum, which showcases the hereditary belongings of the Birla family.
