New Delhi: “All kids need is a little help, little hope and someone believes in them. They will prove you that they are better than many other people. Until you have a kid with special needs you have no idea of the depth of your strength, tenacity and resourcefulness. As special needs parents we don’t have the power to make life fair, but we do have the power to make life joyful.” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts at the webinar on special kids designed by Sahyog- Koshish of ICMEI and Rootskills.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah inaugurated the new website of a young girl Poorti Batra meant for showcasing and selling her paintings, which are so much appreciated by one and all. “Sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles. Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work. It shouldn’t matter how slowly a child learns. What matters is that we encourage them to never stop trying,” added Dr. Marwah.
Pankaj Verma, Dr. Manisha Kaushik, another student Vrinda also expressed their views. The President of Rootskils Bhavisha Budhadeo conducted the program and proposed vote of thanks.
