Education is the need of the hour,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research and Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts at the opening session of 5th Education Summit in Bangalore.

With over 10,000 aligned academicians, corporate and researchers, the CEGR National Council includes 100 Vice Chancellors from various regions of India and leading industrialists,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the house full of academicians from different parts of the country.
“Deep down, every good teacher knows the impact and importance of education. It isn’t just about learning reading, writing and different subjects at school. Instead, formal education is about gaining the knowledge and the skills needed to become a better person and create a better society to live in,” said Thaawar Chand Gehlot Honourable Governor of Karnataka while lighting the ceremonial lamp at inauguration of 5th Education Summit.
“The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth. Knowledge is power. We all have to bring standards in education. Indian education system is big but it needs to add more quality to it,” Gehlot added.
Present on the occasion Mohit Soni CEO Media & Entertainment Skill Council, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Abhilasha Gaur, CEO Electronic Sector Skill Council Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Er. B.S. Yadav National Vice President CEGR, Manish Kothari President CEGR Karnataka State also spoke on the occasion.
Ravish Roshan Director CEGR briefed the house with the activities of CEGR and later proposed vote of thanks to all the dignities. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented awards and mementos to some of the prominent educationist in higher education.
