The Palakkad Fort, also referred to as the Tipu Sultan Fort, stands as a splendid historical monument nestled in the heart of Palakkad town in Kerala. Serving as a crucial military stronghold in ancient times, it was constructed by Hyder Ali during the 18th century and later named after his son, Tipu Sultan.
