Mannarasala Ayilyam
Mannarasala Ayilyam is the most important festival of the Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple located in Haripad, Alleppey district, Kerala, India. Dedicated to the serpent God, Nagaraja, this temple stands out among serpent worship temples worldwide, garnering immense fame and significance. The temple is served by a female priest whom the devotees fondly call Mannarasala Amma.
Mannarasala Ayilyam Festival is celebrated on the Ayilyam asterism in the Malayalam month of Thulam which falls mainly between October and November. During Mannarasala Ayilyam, the priestess receives darshan from Sree Nagaraja.
