Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Washing, chopping, mixing ingredients, and cooking dishes according to recipes (e.g., steaming, grilling, frying).
Station Management: Keeping workstations clean, organized, and stocked with ingredients and equipment.
Quality & Presentation: Ensuring food quality, correct portioning, and appealing presentation and garnishing.
Skills & Requirements
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role (cook, kitchen staff, prep cook).
Knowledge: Understanding of cooking methods, recipes, and food safety standards.
Abilities: Ability to work under pressure, multitask, manage time, and stand for long periods.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent often required.
