Hero Xtreme 160 R
Hero is not any more known for dull mundane-looking motorcycles, only good for getting you from point A to B. One look at the new Hero Xtreme 160 R and you’ll fall in love straight away. Every edge, every panel, and even the quirky-looking headlight gives the bike a modern touch. There is meticulous attention to detail and design. When all of that comes with the robust build and impeccable mileage that Hero is known for, you can’t go wrong with this one.
Hero Xpulse 200
If you’re the sort of person who likes to traverse the road not taken, this one’s for you. With the raised suspension, raised exhaust, and knobby tires. Hero has built this one to take you to poor roads or no roads at all. For a price tag of only 1.15 lakhs ex-showroom, you can start your adventure without burning a hole in your wallet.
Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220
As much as we love the ‘take me anywhere’ attitude of the Xpulse, we realize that not everyone is down for an adventure. Some of us just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. If you’re one of those riders who wants a highway crunching machine to ride all day long without breaking your back, the Avenger is your jam.
Apache RTR 200 4V
This is hands down the most exciting bike on the list. If getting from point A to B, zooming through traffic at breakneck speeds is your thing (even though we don’t recommend it) you’ll find yourself right at home on this one. TVS has incorporated all its racing DNA that it has acquired over the years by participating in different motorsport events across the globe, to build this masterpiece. Carving corners and 5th gear flyby’s will be a breeze on this pocket rocket.
Gixxer SF
Oh boy have you been waiting for this one. Let’s face it, we Indian’s love our fully-faired motorcycles. While there are several faired motorcycles that one can choose from these days, the Gixxer SF remains one of the most popular choices. With the new aggressive styling and the much-needed ABS upgrade this bike is now an even more sensible purchase than it already was, and the best part, you can have one for yourself for less than 1.3 lakhs ex-showroom. Now that’s a bargain.
