Who you are:
Use industry-standard CAM software to create effective 3-axis, 4-axis (rotary table/A-axis), and 5-axis (positional/simultaneous) VMC programs. Examine intricate 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD geometry (STEP/IGES/Parasolid), deciphering surface roughness parameters, deep-cavity tolerances, and tight Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing callouts. Determine the best cutting parameters, toolholders, and milling tools. To confirm tool clearance, examine holder/fixture interference, and guarantee there are no spindle crashes, run 3D machine virtual simulations and verification. To shorten machining cycle times while increasing cutting tool life, use contemporary High-Speed Machining, adaptive roughing, and trochoidal milling techniques.
