Job Description

Location: In And Around Chennai

Your Duties:
Machine Setup & Work Holding Installation: Use dial indicators to mount, align, and fasten chucks, soft jaws, hydraulic vices, tombstone fixtures, modular clamps, and bespoke work-holding devices onto CNC lathes, VMCs, and HMCs.
Tooling Assembly & Preset Calibration: Put together cutting tool combinations, measure tool projections, use edge finders or z-axis presetters to calibrate tool length/radius offsets, and input data into CNC controllers.
G-Code Program Proofing & Dry-execute Verification: To avoid machine collisions, load CNC programs (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Heidenhain), examine code blocks, execute dry runs in the air, check feed and speed rates, and modify single-block and optional stop settings.
Trial Cut Execution & First-Off Part Approval: Complete initial machining runs, use precision metrology tools to conduct thorough dimensional audits on the first-off component against drawing requirements, and obtain Quality Assurance (QA) sign-off.
