Job Description:
Responsibilities:
CNC/VMC Machine & Fixture Setup: On CNC turning and milling centers, install, align, and secure complicated workholding fixtures and align spindle tooling.
Tooling Assembly and Offset Calibration: Put cutting tools together, establish precise work coordinate offsets and geometry/wear offsets, and set tool presetting dimensions.
First-Piece Prove-Out and Program Loading: Launch G-code and M-code programs, run single-block dry runs, modify feed/speed overrides, confirm tool clearance pathways, and carry out preliminary part prove-outs.
First-Piece Inspection & Process Handover: Before transferring the stabilised process to machine operators, inspect first-off machined components using precision measuring instruments (vernier callipers, micrometres, bore gauges, height gauges, and surface roughness testers) to obtain Quality First-Piece Approval.
Troubleshooting and Process Optimisation: Use SMED concepts to minimise changeover/setup times, rectify tool deflection/vibration issues, optimise tool paths with programmers, and fine-tune cutting parameters.

Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
Education: 12th, ITI, or Above
