IJC also constituted Citizen Journalism Award, Marwah Studios International Award for Journalism, Global Excellence Award for Journalism but the biggest and most prestigious is Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah IJC and GFJN 2022.

This year 5th Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism goes to Veteran Padma Bhushan Prabhu Chawla the former Editor in Chief of India Today and Santosh Bhartia the editor of Chauthi Duniya presented by Sandeep Marwah in the presence of large audience from all over the World.

“I am humbled to receive this prestigious and popular award from International Journalism Centre and extend my hearties thanks to Dr. Marwah. Though I am not in active journalism, but I know that I cannot even live without being in it,” said Prabhu Chawla while accepting the award. He also mentioned the changing pattern of journalism and current situation of the newspapers and magazines which were one time playing a very important role in mending ways of society.

“It is my honor to be part of the event and then an award has added fuel to my life of journalist. I have been known as bold journalist and have no hesitation in facing consequences while writing truth,” added Santosh Bhartia Former Member of the Parliament on receiving 5th edition of Mahatma Gandhi National Award.
