1) GARBHADHAN SANSKAR -This is the first sanskar among the sixteen sanskar of Hindu philosophy.
2) PUNSAVAN SANSKAR- This is the second sanskaar after garbhadhan sanskar which is performed after a woman becomes pregnant.
3) SIMANATONAYAN SANSKAR -This sanskar is also known as simanta sanskar. This sanskar is performed for good luck and the good life of the husband.
4) JAAT KARAM SANSKAR -This sanskar is performed after the baby is born and it is performed before cutting off the navel string of the newborn baby from that of its mother
5) NAMKARAN SANSKAR- This is the most important sanskar which is performed on the 11th day after the baby is born.
6) NISKRAMAN SANSKAR- The main reason behind this sanskar is to make the child familiar with the whole universe created by Lord Brahma.
