Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer for our manufacturing plant to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. The role involves implementing industry-specific safety standards, monitoring production areas for hazards, and ensuring that machinery and equipment are operated safely. The Safety Officer will conduct risk assessments, oversee the use of PPE, and organize regular safety training for workers on shop-floor practices such as handling heavy machinery, chemical safety, and emergency response. This position also requires coordinating safety drills, maintaining records of near-miss and accident cases, and supporting management in meeting statutory requirements under the Factories Act and other safety regulations.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering

Salary: Above 18k per month
