Job Description :

We are hiring a Tool Room Designer for a full-time position in Chennai, requiring 2 to 5 years of experience in tool design, quality inspection, fabrication, and tool shifting. Candidates should hold a Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related fields, with strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Unigraphics. The role involves designing jigs, fixtures, press tools, and dies, coordinating with fabrication teams, ensuring dimensional accuracy through quality checks, and supporting tool installation and logistics. Candidates must have a good understanding of machining, tolerances, materials, and inspection instruments like Vernier, micrometre, and height gauge. Prior experience in tool room operations, documentation, and continuous process improvement is essential. Working days are Monday to Saturday, and immediate joiners are preferred.
