Step Into Precision Manufacturing – CAM Programmer Role

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development: Create CNC programs for machines like VMCs (Vertical Machining Centers) using engineering drawings and 3D models.
Tool Path Optimization: Develop efficient tool paths and select proper cutting tools to enhance precision, quality, and manufacturing speed.
Collaboration: Work with Setters, Operators and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure the smooth execution of production workflows.
Program Revision: Review and update existing CAM programs to improve cycle times or adapt to new materials or production requirements.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that manufactured parts meet required quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

CAD/CAM Software Proficiency: Expertise in various CAM software programs is essential (Preferred-Feature CAM & Master CAM).
CNC Machine Knowledge: A strong understanding of CNC machine operation, including G-code and M-code, and various control systems.
Mechanical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Material & Tooling Knowledge: Knowledge of various materials and the appropriate cutting tools for machining them.
Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong skills in troubleshooting machining issues and effective communication with other departments.
Experience : Min 1 to 3 years
Qualification : Diploma/B.E in mechanical
